Gallery Weekend Berlin announces participating galleries for 2023

This years Gallery Weekend Berlin will take place from 28 to 30 April with 55 participating galleries, which includes an extensive programme, spread over more than 50 locations, showcasing the work of approximately 80 international artists.

Berlin has had a slow start coming out of the pandemic, following controversies around the proposed Kunsthalle Berlin fiasco, a lackluster Berlin Biennale and a hangover from Documenta and all its disfunctionality.

In its 19th year, Gallery Weekend founded in Berlin is perhaps the last ‘exhibition models’ which has remained (somewhat) untarnished by the German press after failed Kunsthalle’s, Art Fairs and Bienales.

Participating for the first time are Galerie Bastian in Dahlem, LEVY Galerie in Moabit, and the galleries Georg Nothelfer in Tiergarten and HUA International on Potsdamer Straße.
